Experiencing the Rockies is definately a blessing "In God's Country"...I feel so fortunate to live here was my reflection shimmering in my minds eye as I drove thru the winding roads in this beautiful land of ours.

Photography and painting are my livelyhood and I can't think of a land more inspirational to be surrounded by than Colorado. As I came down the highway that day, it was raining..... and as I came over the ridge to Steamboat, the rain fizzeled out and the sun burst thru the blustery late September sky to reveal the beauty we know as Steamboat Springs....

Golden valleys framed in by the dazzling colors of the Aspen trees and Pines lead the way like a gateway to this amazing gem. As I passed thru the quaint streets of Steamboat, surrounded by smiling faces going places, happy families and friends united in their excitement, my reflection was...If there can be such beauty year round in such a beautiful place such as this.....imagine what the "Father that created all" has waiting for us in 'The Promised Land".

Reflections such as this are a gift from above and make each day a celebration of life and hope for tomorrow.
